Hi
Ive got BS2(2CD) which are both in a .ISO(Image) files, now when i mount them in my virtual drive it says "Cannot find clusters in either F:\ or H:\ (F being my CD drive and H my virtual drive) This was not the case with BS1 though.
Now the reason i burnt it as an Image is because i dont want to waste a CD if some thing should go wrong, I want to combine both the CD's of BS2 into a one CD game just like i did for BS1.
Please if anyone can help me ill would really appreciate it.
(And iam sorry if ive posted in the wrong forum)

Like its said on the Scummvm readme it self
3.7) Broken Sword notes:
---- -------------------
Broken Sword 1 and 2 both come with in-game cutscenes compressed using
RAD Game Tools legacy Smacker(tm) format. As RAD is unwilling to open
the older legacy versions of this format to us, and have requested we not
reverse engineer it, Revolution Software has kindly allowed us to provide
re-encoded Broken Sword cutscenes for download on our website:
http://www.scummvm.org/downloads.php
These cutscenes are provided in MPEG2 format with OGG Vorbis audio.
Viewing these cutscenes thus requires a version of ScummVM compiled
with both libmpeg2 (preferably 0.4.0 or greater) and libVorbis support.
The cutscenes should be placed in the main game data directory. Note that
currently this requires either copying the game to hard disk or reburning
customised versions of the game CDs.
The instructions for the Broken Sword games are for the Sold-Out Software
versions, which are the ones you are probably most likely to find in stores
now.
But I'll understand if u cant post stuff like this.
Well, in that case just copy the relevant files to your harddisk, compress them with the compression tools and burn the result to a CD-R (after testing on your PC first).
No need for CD-images.
No need for CD-images.

Yeah thanks
It also states in the readme "In addition, you will need the cd.bin, cd.inf and startup.inf files from the
sword2 directory on CD 1." By default the cd.inf and startup.in goes into the installation directory except the cd.bin but i dont see what purpose it serves cause it works perfectly fine without it.

The cd.bin file isn't used. The documentation is wrong. Thanks for spotting that.randall_hanks wrote:By default the cd.inf and startup.in goes into the installation directory except the cd.bin but i dont see what purpose it serves cause it works perfectly fine without it.
The original purpose of it appears to have been to help debugging speech. There used to be a function called GetCorrectCdForSpeech() (only compiled with _DEBUG was defined) which would look at that file to find out which CD to use.
The cd.inf file is necessary, though. It tells the resource manager where it should expect to find the different data files.
