I found a Page , that contains MP3a -the "Soundtracks" of Monkey Island 1-4
the Page is named Lucas Arts Soundtracks
i remember i read that it exist diver Versions of MI 1& 2 that uses CD-Audio or Mp3 as Background (Musik or Ambience)
and the Soundtracks contains it also
would it be possible to import this Soundtracks and use this ?
Nothing against the Midi Sound , but MP3s are crispier and sounds nicer , i think...
Is it possible ? .. or the Soundtrack-music divers to much from the music of the games ?
/// i think i remember , that i read that the Mp3s of Monkey Island 1 contains 23 Tracks ... are these the Same ? (the Remixes on the Page , i will not count .. )
will ScummVM be able to use the Soundtracks ?

You can get the Amiga-Soundtracks for Monkey1, perfectly timed for use in MONKEY1DOS-CD and MONKEY1AMIGA here:
http://www.scummbar.com/amiga/
Simply copy the 24 mp3s to your Monkey folder.
The soundtracks from your site have not been optimised for use with ScummVM.
Best regards!
Joachim

Edit: The soundtracks from Mixnmojo are not in the right order nor in the right lenght to be used with ScummVM.
Starting from Monkey2, LucasArts games use the so-called iMuse system, which provides smooth transition between different music-tracks and an immediate audio-feedback for user actions.
There would be no way that fixed digitized music could emulate this iMuse behaviour.
Maniac and Zak don't have much audio.
Indy3 has CD audio with the FM-Towns version, but only there, and for Loom exist things like CD-Talkie and so on.
So, to be honest, Soundtrack support makes only sense for Monkey1.
