Key mapping/copy protection m600i/MI2

I have immensely enjoyed playing Monkey Island 1 on my m600i, but I can't get through the copy protection screen on Monkey Island 2....
How do I access the number keys ????

I hope someone can help...

Never mind, just found out what the bar below the screen is used for....
