i recently tried to play FOTAQ on my e2 and altough the game worked i couldnt find the menu and had to reset. i had both scumm.engine and queen.engine in my mods folder.
Once again I am stumped

ps; for indy3 ive read that to get the numpad for fighting u must; command-n
but as a complete newbie to palm os i dont relly understand how to do that. any help would be apreciated

menu in FOTAQ is accessed by clicking book in your inventory.
menu in indy3(cannot confirm but all other lucasarts games work the same) is accessed via menu button in your silk/statusbar area.

OK I figured out the command thing and I was wondering if it was possible to have a list of the command functions posted on this thread?

Also I looked at the changes page for ScummVM palmOS and realized that the command-n function is only on the new version, and inapplicable to my current setup (7.0) oops

(man I use that particular smiley too much, Its embarassing)

older version has the command-n option to (or crtl don't remember)

you can try the new ARM pre-version which has support for command-n

thanks chrilith for all the hard work
unfortunately when i tried to run a game (samnmax) i got the following error after the launcher

ScummVM engine file
was not found
please check that all
required files are
installed on your card,
and you have enough
free storage memory

my device is a tungsten e2
my device free space is 21.3m of 29.7m
my card free space is 561m of 982.2m
I deleted the original scumm.engine (from 7.0) and repaced it (in the mods folder) with the new palmos arm version from arm.zip

p.s. the first time i tried to install it i forgot to install the skin so it went to the engine select menu before direct mode an when i selected "scumm games" i got the same message. Afterwards i tried a full re-install (skin frontend and replaced scumm.engine again just for the heck of it) which led to the same message, after launcher

thanks again

ok well i checked out the cd audio games with the test version and maybe ill start a thread with my experiences if it ok with chrilith
now i got a big problem
after checking out the new test version i decided to re install my old 7.0 version (im in the middle of fotaq) and now all my cd audio games (monkey1,loomcd, and zaktowns) wont play anymore. non cd games seen to still work but ive only tried samnmax and indy4

my path is: /PALM/Programs/ScummVM/Games/gamename/ (micd,loomcd,zak)
my game tags are: monkey1,loomcd,zaktowns

I have tried deleting all the game files and replacing them with fresh ones
i checked the card selection and triple checked my path
both monkey1, and loomcd come up with "cannot find file: 'monkey.000'(for loomcd repace with '00.lfl')" followed by the ScummVM fatal error window(0:0:0x0):cannot find file: 'monkey.000' (or '00.lfl')
i checked the files i have and they are 'monkey1.000' and '000.lfl'
Zaktowns has a unique error message:

ScummVM Fatal Error
(0:0:0x0): unknown
magic id (0xFE08)- this
version is unsupported

Arrgh i just bought Pocket-tunes

ScummVM 0.8.0 upgraded your targets. Either open your scummvm.ini file in some editor and remove 'target=blah' in each entry, or remove games from ScummVM Launcher and readd them.

ive had a bit of trouble with the cd enhanced games in the new test version

when i try to use monkeyCD on my e2 the music sounds buzzy and almost digitized and "skips" frequently also every second time i try to start it i get a fatal exeption message and have to reset
I get the same message randomly in zaktowns and whenever i try to quit.
The music it zaktowns and loomcd is crisp and clear anltough it still seems to "skip" like monkeyCD. Also both zaktowns and loom seem to have some trouble changing scenes( an example of how i experienced this with loomcd is after choosing your skill level i had to press home(esc) to proceed to the intro)

has anyone else experience these problems or did i goof somehow?
