Simon The Scorcer CD32 Talkie Version

Post by FOL »

Hi, I decided to try my Simon CD with psp scummVM, but it has major graphics issues. Is there anyway to solve this, I looked through the compatability and you only list the PC version.

It runs, I get the speech and the graphics, but they are all meesed up. I have tried running it straight from my Original CD32 CD with Windows scummVM and its exactly the same. I bought it when it was released, only played it a few times, never finished it, be nice to finish it.

Thats the effect I get every time I run it.

Doh, after a long search, i see you are trying to get this 1 working. Is there any way for me to help?

Not at the moment. Only thing which prevents it from being fixed is abscence of my free time. There are several m86k routines which should be translated into C.

Thanks for the reply.

Im also curious about why, the PC versions to certain games were given priority, as in my experience PC versions (of that time) suck compared to the Amiga versions.

As you can proberly tell im an Amiga Fan, "LONG LIVE THE AMIGA".

Its like the BASS PC Version, I dont get any music, but the CD32 version does (not tried it scummVM since the compatability says it dont work).

The answer is easy: we're doing Reverese Engineering and only 1 or 2 people in the Team know m68k assembler. Compare that with 10 or so with x86 knowledge.
