To everybody owning non-english non-german COMI and The Dig

Post by fingolfin »

Hi there,

I recently enhanced the game detector code to be able to distingush different localizations of The Dig and Curse of Monkey Island. This works by looking at the LANGUAGE.BND resp. LANGUAGE.TAB files shipped with these games which contain the translated game texts.

Right now, I only know those files for the german versions of Comi and The Dig, and for the english COMI. If you want to help me extend this to other games, you can do so: Just look for your LANGUAGE.TAB resp. LANGUAGE.BND file, then please tell me (via a reply in this thread):
* The filename (TAB or BND)
* The language this coresponds to
* The size of the file
* The MD5 checksum of the file.

Please note: At this time I am only interested in *official* translations of the games. But don't worry, this feature is purely cosmetical, fan translations will still work just fine.

I've got the official Spanish version of COMI. I got it from an eBay seller from Spain some years ago. Unfortunately, CD 2 has a big scratch so the files "WRECKSAN.SAN" and "VOXDISK2.BUN" are unreadable. :(

On CD 1, there's a file "LANGUAGE.TAB".
Language: Spanish
File size: 449787 Bytes
MD5 checksum: 64f3fe479d45b52902cf88145c41d172 *LANGUAGE.TAB

On CD 2 is the same file again (same size, same MD5).
