Hi,
I saw several posts on other pages that claim to have ScummVM running on the new N800. Unfortunately so far I have not been able to find a running port . . .
Does anybody know which version I need to use to get it running ?
Many thanks in advance,
Philipp
Running on N800 ?

Actually, I can't see any posts in our forums that make such claims (that doesn't mean it's wrong, I just can find anything supporting that ScummVM might run on the N800).
Our platforms list in the wiki doesn't mention it either. Then again it doesn't mention the Maemo port at all...

I've got it running on my n800, and have played completely through The Secret of Monkey Island - though I'm not getting music and have started CMI and haven't had any trouble so far.
The place to go, also referenced on the 0.9.1 topic within this section, is:

This is strange, both floppy (midi) version of Monkey 1 and CD version wih sampled sound (even compressed to oggs or mp3s) should work just find both on N770 nad N800. Tested myself. Can be some misconfiguration in scummvm preferences.thp1017 wrote:I've got it running on my n800, and have played completely through The Secret of Monkey Island - though I'm not getting music
Also COMI works fine for me (recompressed myself from CDs to oggs). N770 has a tough time with it (cpu mostly 100%) but it is playable. N800 is better with CPU but has more visual tearing and buggy touchscreen driver gets in the way sometimes. I hope next n800 firmware will improve both issues.
