Need Help!

Hi there just found this site, I am not very good with technical things and I bought myself a psp from the internet it seems to have a firmware of 3.10 OE-A'. Is this normal? It won't let me put unofficial games onto my memory card, I've heard something about `homebrew' but I don't really understand what it is, any help and advice would be appreciated.

Nope, not a normal firmware. The OE series (3.10 OE-A' is just one of many) are unofficial hybrid firmwares made by hacker, Dark_AleX.

Unofficial games = Homebrew
Homebrew = Games that run on a system through exploits in the system software (i.e. ScummVM)
