Hey again, another MI1 Amiga problem has arisen.
Thanks to the online codewheel I managed to get past the protection bit (it appears all versions use the same codes), but now I've noticed something else that's not right.
You may be aware of this page which houses alternate soundtracks of the Amiga tunes - the one designed for the Amiga version has the tunes play just once per track, with the intention of looping back to the beginning to give off a more accurate simulation of the original never-ending Amiga music. When I tested it out with ScummVM in the past though it left a noticeable gap between finishing and starting up again - I intended to try it out again with a more modern and recent build to see if anything like gapless playback had been implemented yet, after checking out the enhanced Simon The Sorcerer soundtrack and noting how that had been compiled with the intention of seamless loopback. However, it seems that whenever a newer version plays these Amiga MP3s (I've tried an SVN build from two days back) now, it simply stops at the end and doesn't start up again!
I don't know if it's the MP3s or something, but I'm pretty sure ScummVM managed to loop the music for this title in the past - so why does it no longer work?
Music doesn't loop in MI1 Amiga version?
