some of the Mac games have a different verb interface,
was there a patch to add this?

I did a quick search for this but found nothing

there was some post about a different Mac GUI (grey Indy3 verbs if I'm not mistaken?), but that is not incorporated into ScummVM as far as I know - the game itself should play fine though

yes I was interested in the verb layout(grey text),
and was only wondering if somebody had created a patch to enable this in scummvm.

Unfortuneately no patch for ScummVM exists to show the special mac interface and dialog windows for loom and indy3. Right now the only way to see these are either on a mac or via emulation of some sort i suppose.

The interface seems to use a different resolution for the fonts which "might" be the reason for This bug

Excellent,
So by the fact that this isnt available in the current ScummVM I assume it means that the verb and dialog boxes for these Mac games are not in the resources and rather in the original Mac interpretor, So somebody would need to reverse engineer the Mac interpretor packaged with these games to figure out how its done, and implement a check prior to running these games which would override ScummVM's default verb and dialog settings.
Interesting I wonder if anyone has looked into this..
