E62, wrong screen orientation

Post by migo »

I installed the scummvm port, both the subversion build and the 0.9.1 version for S60v3. The main problem I'm running into, is the resolution seems to be correct, but it's shifted on its side, so I have to turn the E62 sideways to be able to view things properly, and part of the menu is obscured (left side, would be under where the keyboard is).

I read a post about a different problem that suggested editing the .ini file so it's landscape=yes, but I don't have a clue where to find that file on the phone.

Any ideas?

Solved the problem by reading the N95 fullscreen thread. Now I get another problem, completely hangs my phone.

ScummVM supports many different games Does it hang in a game or in the mainmenu?

Main menu. Did some more testing, the March 22 subversion doesn't have that problem (so far). Haven't had a chance to try a game yet.

There are free games available from the Scummvm download pages, those are Flight of the amazon queen and Beneath a steel sky. Both should work fine with Scummvm for S60v3.

Ok. Now my problem is that I can't find the game. It's really silly that it doesn't let you browse for the file. I have it in the root directory of my phone's memory and it says I can't find it.

You dont choose files, you choose the directory which contains the file. So root of memorycard and select that

No memory card. I had queen.1c in the root directory of the phone memory, said it couldn't find it.

Hmm I would n't say that browsing the phone memory from your PC and the root of that, is the same as the TRUE root of your C:. Use FExplorer to check the actual location.

The developer signing process is rather complicated, since the S60v3 version of FExplorer is still in beta.

Is there another program that does this?
