Firstly I'd like to thank the pogrammers and maintainers of ScummVM for a great program. I have played through both Monkey Island 1 and 2 in Windows XP without any problems!
When the time came to try the third game in the quadrology I ran into some problems.
Apparently there is some sounds which either ScummVM or the original game run without ScummVM can read.
If I play the game in ScummVM and I do something in the game which is supposed to play me a sound or make guybrush talk the console pops up with a debug message:
Error: (12:343:0x1A1B): BundleMgr::loadCompTable() Compressed sound 2827 invalid.
This happenes in a lot of different places, but not everywhere. Most sounds work, but the game crash when this happens and I have to restart the game, often loosing a lot of progress in the game.
If I play the game without ScummVM the sound just doesn't play at all if I do the same action. The game runs slower, and the cutscenes fast forwards like crazy if I'm not using ScummVM, even with Directsound acceleration at basic, so I hope the is a solution to this.
So my question is:
Is it possible to make ScummVM ignore these unreadable sounds?
I get this error with both ScummVM 0.9.1 and 0.10.0svn.

It's the English language version.

voxdisk1.bun 146 766 kB
voxdisk2.bun 185 287 kB
Edit:
I just installed the game on my laptop.
There it works fine without ScummVM and with directsound acceleration set to basic. So I'll be able to play the game after all

Hi
Exactly the same problem here, using scummVM 0.10.0 (Jun 17 2007 11:19:20). The game crashes if driven natively too, perhaps it's corrupt data or something. Could someone please check if the md5sums of the data files match to confirmed working copy?
Here's also the error message I get when the game crashes:

The voxdisk1.bun file from my English version has MD5 sum c25c4a1a0ebdcfa50f4027541b096326. The others appear to be the same, at least at a quick glance.
I haven't verified recently that my file is working, though. When I've played the game, I've been using a compressed version of the file that I prepared ages ago.
