E62 Keyboard issue

Ok im having a problem with my keyboard on my e62. When I try to type something into ScummVM or any game it sees the letter keys that are also assigned as numbers as numbers. So if I try to type, exit it will output exi2. Shift or the function key are not recognized. Anyone have any ideas?

Well thats because your E6? phone has a numeric keyboard in the middle even though it does n't look like it. So you can always use multitap option as for the other S60 devices.

ahh so if I hit the key multiple times it will cycle through the characters? Thanks.
