Hello everybody,
After quickly glancing through these forums, I have noticed that the Curse of Monkey Island (probably my favorite game of all time) does not work with the Nokia N95 because of the lack of memory. And as you probably know, a new version of the N95 will be coming out ( Link ). This new N95 is rumored to have double the RAM over the existing model ( Link ). So, my question is- will this memory upgrade be enough to play curse of monkey island?

Who knows? Sadly, we have no reports of its trials on the SE P1i (which has double the RAM from the M600i, and effectively triple the memory-free-from-system-processes), but I'm willing to suspect that the next bottleneck is going to be processor power.
So far, the only SVGA game I've managed to run on my mobile was Spy Fox. What about you?

..well, it seems to run on my p1 without that much lag - until the point where you're talking with Wally(?), the cartographer from mi2. Then it just closes. You hear the cannons in the background, but the dialogue doesn't start. I assumed it just was too demanding anyway, or would need some recompressed resources of some kind - but it was fun to watch the intro again. (Hehe.. I was hoping to get as far as the duel with Van Halen, though).
Anyone have any suggestions (other than to get a life)?

First of all vga rendering is not 100%, its not really updating the screen as it should. Also memory might be an issue, I have set the limit for scummvm at 32mb right now I think, not sure if thats enough for COMI. I'm thinking about an improved vga mode for N95 and P1i users where you have more memory available to play these games.
