user "Lostio" spamming with PMs and violating rule

can someone please ban that joker?
Hello there. I am a new member in this forum, and I've never posted here besides one time when I had some troubles running my Curse of Monkey Island game in ScummVM, but now I find myself with a bigger issue involving Broken Sword 1: The Shadow Of The Templars.

Now, I do have the game and I have all the necessary files. I saw your post in one of the Broken Sword help topics and it seems to me you have all the necessary files yourself. Now, before going too ahead of myself, I checked some Broken Sword topics and confirmed if my list of files corresponded to the necessary files to play the games. And, indeed, they match - I had all the files I needed to play the game.

Yet, the moment I started the game on ScummVM, it closed. It just played the introductory cutscene and the game never began. ScummVM closed right after that.

Now, I'm not asking you to help me with the problem, since I already know what the problem is. I've researched it further with another friend of mine who also plays Broken Sword, and compared my files with his. I then found out what the problem was. It was in the speech.clu files. For some reason, my files had respectively 1 KB and 0 KB of size. That of course meant they were damaged. So, I asked my friend to give me a copy of his speech.clu files, and the game started! It actually began and had no troubles. However, there's one catch... My friend's Italian, so his speech.clu files are for the Italian version. And I'm not Italian, I don't really understand Italian, I talk with him online and we both speak English to understand each other.

So, I finally am aware that the trouble is in my damaged files speech1.clu (1 KB) and speech2.clu (0 KB). And I'm a bit concerned in asking for this in the forum, since I'm not sure this procedure is supported here. I found many forums where they don't allow this, therefore I was hoping you could help me with this yourself. I hope you have all the files, including the ones I'm searching for. So... will you do a pal a favor and give me a copy of your speech1.clu and speech2.clu files, please?

I understand if you're not too lenient as to accept this, but I am asking you to please do it as a personal favor to a guy who loves adventure games and finds himself in this ghastly situation. I'm sure you understand the feeling.

Please give it a thought, will you? If you want to e-mail me the files, use this address: andre_magalhaes@xxxx.xx

I'd appreciate it if you gave this some thought. Thank you.

also note how he already tried to pull off a similar thing here about 18 months ago (and he still claims he's a "new member" in his spam)

Sounds like he has a downloaded ripped version of the game and has a dummy SPEECH.CLU file to allow the game to run without the speech. He is asking for help with abandonware.
