Post by ggh »

Hello I have nearly all of the lucas arts scumm games and am trying to run them on my mac os x with scummvm.

The only problem is I don't know when there is supposed to be sound, music, or talking on some of them (especially the old ones)

I filled in the ones I know but I was wondering I you guys could help by putting down the sound info on the ones with ?s that way I can know If it is working correctly on my comp. Thanks.

Maniac Mansion?
Sound, Music

Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders?
Sound, Music (the FMTowns release featured 256 colors and
orchestral sound plus updated and added ambience sounds)

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade?
Sound, Music (the FMTowns release featured 256 colors and
orchestral sound)

Loom?
Sound, Music, (Speech only available in PC Talkie version,
but due to cut dialogue in that release - space issues on
the CD while developing - some consider the PC Talkie
release inferior to the FMTowns release, which featured 256
color, orchestral music and the full dialogue as text)

Passport to Adventure?
Dunno

The Secret of Monkey Island?
Sound, Music

Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge?
Sound, Music

It should perhaps be pointed out that music doesn't necessarily mean continuous music. Some games just play the occasional tune every now and then. I think Monkey Island 2 was the first LucasArts adventure that had (almost) non-stop music.
