Hello all, I think I'll start off by saying how awesome this program is. For the 3 seconds that I actually got to play with it, it was fantastic.
I opened up my brand new R4DS and a 2GB micro SD card this evening in order to play my old game collection on my DS. Sam & Max worked beautifully. But once I loaded more games on my micro SD card, things went wrong.
I started up Zak Mckraken when I realized that I forgot to copy over the audio track. Simple fix, right? After copying the file over, I tried loading the game up again.
After adding the game to ScummVM and hitting start, the DS shut off. I tried again with Loom with the same result. Now I can't get my card to read on my computer.
Did I kill my SD card already? I go into the windows tools and it registers as FAT32 967 MB. Are there any other recovery tools I can use? I'm sorry if this has no relation to the program, but I want to know if it was the game that messed up my card (maybe I ripped it incorrectly? The discs were awfully scratched when I dug them out of the closet)Or was it just mishandling that messed this up?
Thanks in advance
DS Shuts down/Bad SD card?

FIXABLE :)
Format the card as FAT32 using the Windows format tool, that should fix everything in one go!
I had this happen on an M3DSS, which is near identical to an R4DS, with a SanDisk 2GB card.
It registered something like 1.5GB in Windows after "dying" - I tested various things and it seems that the card was trying, and failing, to write to the M3's system files beyond some weird barrier, as though a certain number of files/folders had become too much for it.
Using FAT32 I have had no problems at all, let us know if you find this works

I'm at work right now, but I do have an update. I got it working again (though it still says it's not 2gigs). I tried the windows format tool under Control Panel >Administrators > Storage and that wouldn't format the whole card, just the one partition.
I think the main problem is that the usb reader that came with the R4 is junk... and the only other reader I have is my old digi camera, which has a card size limit on it. So on my way home, I'm going to pick up a real card reader and try again.
UPDATE:
THe blue section of the card works perfectly... the black partition however I am unable to format both partitions into one "drive".
UPDATE 2:
I downloaded the HP SD Card Format Tool from Here and everything works again. So I hope that this is useful to someone... it seems that this is a common enough problem.
