something wrong with Kyrandia

Post by cyborgjeff »

Hi,

first off all, thanks for your project, i'm hardly happy to play all my favorite games on my DS :)

I've a DS light and the R4-Revolution. My main language is french, so sorry for my poor english.

First, about the interface, for now, it is render in green and black, it's not easy to read it, and it seems thant the stick and the cursor is not correctly synchronised. Is it some "skins" or somewhere in the menu the possibility to change color ?

So, then i've first try the game Simon the Sorcerer and Legend of Kyrandia,.. i should have understood that there are different version linked to some games ;p

So Simon seems to work, i should again learn to juggle with keys and zoom ;p

But, i've something wrong with Kyrandia, when i launch it, i receive a message "Kyrandia.dat is may be corrupted", please go to the website .. blahblah. I first think that my transfert have been problems, but it seems to be the same. I've tested it with Scumm on XP, and it works well. What would be the problem ?

Sorry if you have allready answer this somewhere else, but my english is not good to do such a search.

thanks for your forcoming help !

If I remember correctly, there are two versions of Kyrandia.dat. Get the version you need here: https://scummvm.svn.sourceforge.net/svn ... 0/kyra.dat

One is older, one is newer. the newer one probably adds support for more versions of kyra. There is a history of revisions but some revisions don't make it clear what was added from this one changed file alone.
