Tentacle Chow needs YOU

Post by Tentacle Chow »

As an amorphous blob of Tentacle Chow, it was difficult, but I resurrected every thread I could find that wasn't closed on the Maniac Mansion series and Scumm games in the Lucasarts official forums. As I did that, I counted about 100 closed threads asking for Monkey Island 5 and/or a re-release of the classic adventures in the last year.

As I did so, I came across a MM and DOTT fan thread which was closed by an administrator who said "it had nothing to do with Lucasarts!" (click here to see it)

For shame!

Well guys, if you feel like some senseless Lucasarts bashing, sign up for an account there and go to town. The whole page is full of resurrected MI threads ripe for the spamming, but don't blink - I have a feeling they'll be locked soon enough. (disclaimer: remember that senseless Lucasarts bashing will be confined to the premises of Lucasarts' official forums and here, all current rules apply, thus...)

Here's the link to the spammed page. Click.
You can sign up on the main page. Have fun!

Accept this as a general warning. People that "bump" topics, especially older, out-of-date or useless topics, without actually adding meaningful commentary to the thread will earn themselves an automatic 1 to 3 day ban, if not longer, based on the frequency of the offense.

"Bumping" is posting in a thread for the sole purpose of bumping it to the top of the page. This is frowned upon and looked on as spam. If you wish to actually contribute to the thread and post something on-topic, well, that's what the forums are here for. Mindless posting to bump the thread is looked down on.

Do not "bump" topics.

Don't worry, I have no plans of bumping anything in a quality forum such as this. I merely did so in the Lucasarts forum to illustrate the demand of more adventure games. I have never done so in any other forum, and I don't plan to.

If you notice, Raziel only linked to and quoted from the LucasArts forum rules.

Technically it's not bumping if I have something worthy to add to the topic, as his quote says, and I did. Everything I posted was on topic.
