problems with simon the sorcerer german version speech

hi! i really need help for this problem... i could install simon and everything ist running fine exept for the sound and the speech! its like the sound and with it also the speech of the characters is breaking... the sound is not fluently and sometimes there are only pieces of words which can be recognized... its no fun at all to play simon like that.. is there any way to fix that? thanx for your help!
