Zack McKracken FM-Towns Version not fullscreen...

Post by minardifan666 »

Hi!
I've got a problem with the FM-Towns Version of Zack McKracken.
It's not zoomed to fullscreen as opposed to any other game I tried. That makes it impossible to hit the microscopicly small commands, at least for my fingers. Is this a known issue?
The Dos version of the same game works fine but is way uglier... Any way to get around this?
Thanks,
Chris.

I don't have the FM-Towns version myself - it's much, much too expensive for my taste - but it might have to do with the FM-Towns version using 320x240 pixels, while the DOS version uses 320x200.

I suspected it had to do with the FM-Towns resolution, too.
Any chance to fix this in a future release?

Thanks,
Chris.

(Lol, just saw it on Ebay.de for 599€ = $900)

What do you mean "to fix"? Anyway, to work on this game an interested ScummVM developer should have a copy (legal copy, original one) to work with. So consider donating your copy if you'd like to see the game supported better.

Heh. If I had bought it while it was still affordable (surely, there must have been a time like that), and knew I might have to pay hundreds of euros to get another one, I don't think I'd ever consider donating it. :)
