ScummVM's "add games" function doesn't seem to work for some of the freeware games/demos I've downloaded straight from the ScummVM website. I had a quick look for this on the forum but most advice for failure to add games was to check if you have the right files, and I've just downloaded all the right files so I assume it can't be that.
It's struggling with the freeware English version of Lure and the demos of Broken Sword 1 and Fate of Atlantis. When I move to the folder where I extracted the zip file and click "choose" I get the message saying "ScummVM could not find any game file in the specified directory!"
I'm running Kubuntu, in case that makes any difference. I hope I'm not repeating a previous question, I couldn't find it on the forum. Thanks to anyone who can help.
