Monkey Island costume question

I know there is a costume command in (scumm) games to change your characters appearance (look like some other character in the game) which is

actor 1 costume x

The game, in this case MI1, only has access to it's own costume data, so you can't look like Indy e.g. (the only exception is "Passport to Adventure", because it contains several games)

Is there any way to import other game's costume data? Or a command to guide the game to the other game's files?
