Indiana jones fate of atlantis soundfiles arent working

Post by Chrius »

Hello, ive got a problem: ive got the talkie version of indianajones and the fate of atlantis and got the soundfiles package as mp3.
ive copied all audiofiles in the gamedirectory but scummvm doesnt play the files it only uses normal midi sound.
Ive tried to convert all files into wave, but the same problem here.

Do i have to do some configuration in scummvm? ive tried to change soundfont or what is this for?

I just want good music for my indi on mobile phone =)

thanks

Fate of Atlantis does not play third-party mp3 files.

the package ive got is for fate of atlantis. I heared the files with my media player. it contains all the game sounds but in much better quality than the midi sounds.
i think there must be a way to include the sounds in the game becaus noone will do so much work to record this sounds for fun.

has anybody already done this?

No, there isn't. Starting with Monkey Island 2 and ending, I believe, with Sam & Max Hit the Road, the music in the LucasArts adventures became too complex to simulate with simple sound files.

You'd be surprised what people do just for fun. :)

A few days ago this guy was wondering where he could find the game. Am I overreacting if I'm suspicious of this post?

No. I bet I can guess from where exactly he got his game.
