hi, did a brief check and couldn't see a topic on this so i thought ide ask...
does anyone know of an emulator that supports syndicate on a ds?
...or gabriel knight for that matter?
if so could you point me in the right direction of how to get them on and working?
-ive just bought a secondhand ds and i have a bit of knowledge on homebrew etc.. but not much!
here's some info on the games if you've not seen them before...they are both excellent titles and i urge you to get hold of a copy.

SYNDICATE or gabriel knight for ds?

Hi,
I don't think you'll find an emulator capable of running these games on the DS, as emulating a PC is a task which would be way beyond the DS's CPU.
Although Gabriel Knight looks like it may well be supported by ScummVM in the future. The FreeSCI project merged with ScummVM recently, and that engine may well be able to run Gabriel Knight eventually.

Good Morning dash!
Actually, I had Syndicate working on my DS, via SNEmulDS, which emulates SuperNES roms. Well, it had massive slowdowns and broken sound so I never gave it a second try. AND I remembered the SNES port to be the crapiest by far, even worse than the Amiga version. You may just want to try the different SNES emulators for DS flowting around the net, good luck.
And concerning other PC games on the DS: there are a number of games ported to the DS using the original PC game files, for example Doom 1+2, Quake 1+2 (Expansion RAM required for pt.2), Descent, Flashback and many more! Google is your best friend!

Here - this is a Syndicate reimplementation.

I think it's based on the SDL libraries. So it's probably only a matter of time and popularity until a DS- Port is coming out.
