Questions about MI1 music

Post by The Spoony Hou »

First, did MI1 EGA or VGA versions support MT-32 music?

Second, I'm playing the EGA version with AdLib music (of course), and there is no music for Stan... Should there be?

yes but you needed the roland patch or you youd get an insert disk 9 message

You don't need the patch for the VGA version.
Unfortunately, there is no SFX when playing Monkey EGA/VGA with MT-32. That's normal for that game.
Stan's music is only in the CD version as well as the music at the cannibal village and the short cue when Elaine's kidnapped. Also there is no music playing at the jail in floppy versions.

Ah, thanks. And didn't even remembered the prision music... Well, it happens.

I wish I could find a site listing all the differences between the versions...
