http://www.alwaysinnovating.com/home/index.htm
the Touchbook is based on the Beagleboard http://beagleboard.org/ and has an ARM OMAP3 CPU and runs on a version of Angstrom linux http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/

First of all i would take a look here... and if you're still not frightened after reading that, i'd go to the IRC channel and talk to the devs directly (many different porters there, too)
You'll get the best and instant help you can (probably)

somebody already did the hard work
http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/re ... me=scummvm
and it works on the Touchbook

I dunno if your problem is solved now or not, but if it isn't, here is a quick rundown on how to compile your own ScummVM on Linux that I wrote up earlier;

Good luck.
Is that a wannabe-Vista window decoration theme on KDE in the screenshot? How heretic of them!

That's a 0.12 build as well.
(9 games added since including the 7th Guest, Return to Zork, Discworld 1&2)
At least it's been built well with all the supported codecs, even Flac.
If it was me I'd try to email the person and see if it's possible to have new versions.
(Actually if it was me I'd try to compile my own build. From my experience I think Linux is about the easiest to build for however I've only tried it on x86 versions of the main distros like Debian, Fedora, OpenSUSE. If your distro uses one of the main package systems it will make things a lot easier.)
The screenshot's taskbar looks like the one used by Kubuntu 9.10.
I downloaded it the other day to look at the new KDE. I've always used Gnome. It came with the first Linux OS I tried and I had no reason to change. The new KDE was raved about and I wanted to check 'Ubuntu One' (this personal cloud thing) as well.
I couldn't believe it when I was presented with a grey task bar. I think it looks so ugly.
I don't know if having a better graphics card would change things but whatever your graphics capabilities I'm sure it doesn't have to be 'battleship grey'.

Yes I know there's more. And I'm sure one of them is better than that grey that was chose as default.bobdevis wrote:You do realise there is a build in feature in KDE to download an ever-expanding amount of styles and themes, right?
Anyway, regardless of whatever they set as default, they can't possibly do worse then the default WinXP tellytubby-blue look
I did get XP when it was released. Last version of Windows I got. One of the first things I done was to change to one of the other colours (Silver and Olive Green)
I've never heard it called 'tellytubby-blue'
