Android: Restore after wipe?

Hi, I managed to change the save path settings so that the savegame files go to the SD card, but I can't get SCUMMVM to recognize them after a system wipe and reinstall. I'm trying to get back to where I was in DOTT, pointed the save path to the folder on the SD card that has the savegames, but SCUMMVM launcher doesn't see them. Any help please? I was already 2/3 through the game!

Wild guess here; Did you at any point in time have multiple instances of DOTT in your ScummVM game list?

If you did, then you may need to do some file renaming.
Savegames from the 1st instance of DOTT are saved as tentacle.sXX and from the 2nd as tentacle-1.sXX.
If you reinstall everything then a 1st instance of DOTT will NOT see the tentacle-1.sXX saves.

That's exactly what happened. I started with the non-talkie one, then got the talkie one so it was all '-1'.
