.san compression confusion

Post by doomdoomdoom »

Hi all!

Today I tried to compress my beloved Curse of Monkey Island to play it an my n900.

So far I understand that the comressor splits tha video and audio in 2 files but I have 3 files in total -> a new .san, .ogg and .san.raw ?
Should I keep all 3 of them or can I delete the raw file ( what is it for anyway ? )

I've been searching this forum and tried to google it, but no one seems to get 3 output files.
I used the scummvmtools for windows with gui.

Any ideas ?

cheers

I think the .raw file is just a temporary file that it's supposed to remove once it's done with it. (If it doesn't, that sounds like a bug to me, but I'm not overly familiar with those tools.)

as said above the raw is an unneeded intermediate file and can be deleted after conversion
