DOTT subtitle/audio toggle

Hey everyone,

I just downloaded ScummVM, and it seems to work for Day of the Tentacle,\ except it's always on subtitle mode for the in-game speech (not counting movies). If I try to toggle it from the config menu, nothing changes, and it is reset to "Subtitles Only" when I re-check it. If I press the hotkey for the toggle, it will display, for example "Audio only," but still, only the subtitles will show.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

What version of the game do you have, on what medium does it come?

Im not really sure, I got both DOTT and Sam and Max files from a friend who had the games, and I'm running them on Windows XP.

I tried it on Sam and Max as well, and the same problem occurs. It seems like ScummVM is having trouble activating this mode during gameplay, but I'm using version 1.1.1, which seems to be the latest.
