Broken Sword 2: Driver Error with sprite trk31MV HELP!!!!

pls help me out?...
im always recieving this error at the cutscene where george is about to break out of jail in the police station in quaramonte.[/b]

I would have thought there was an error number between "Driver Error" and "with sprite" that could narrow down exactly where the error was flagged, but I've never deliberately tried to trigger these errors so it may be that there isn't.

Anyway, the only thing I can really think of is if the data file is somehow damaged and/or truncated. To rule that out, you may want to re-copy the file quaramon.clu from your CD.

(Mind you, I've only tried the Windows version of the game on a 32-bit Linux computer.)

Thanks anyway.... i thought no one will ever reply...
the thing is I just downloaded it online..so I don't actually have a CD.. I really wanted to play this since high school. so that if i finish this I can move on with BS3 and 4.

It is? It's been re-released so many times that there should be second-hand copies on eBay at any given time, and as far as I know it's still being sold so you probably don't even have to rely on the second-hand market.

If you love the game, surely you can spend a few *minutes* to go looking for places where to buy it?

Here, I'll even save you those and just point you our wiki page which lists places where you can legally buy Broken Sword 2.

gee.. thanks guys... its not really relying... but financial issues leave me no choice... heheheh ... sigh.. this is embarrassing...
