Maniac Mansion.nes (ROM)

Does the NES ROM of Maniac Mansion work with ScummVM 8.2 or not? I have heard it does and I've tried it... I even used a hex editor and pulled the 1st line out, copied from the 17th byte and saved new. I couldn't get it to work.
btw, Anyone know if I can get a freeware version of Maniac Mansion Deluxe? and would it be compatible? I saw one on eBay for 80 bucks and I just won't pay that... I figured maybe Abadonia or somewhere might have it...

It used to work fine (around the 0.8.0 release), so I assume it still does.
Try getting it to work on PC first, since you don't see all warning and error messages on PSP.

No, as it doesn't use SCUMM.
